In his first major competition of the 2013 season, ENVE sponsorsed triathlete Timo Bracht won the Ironman Los Cabos
Sunday in Mexico. The 37-year-old German posted the fastest bike split on his Smart ENVE System 8.9
en route to a convincing win over second-place finisher Trevor Delsaut of France.
Bracht scored his eighth career Ironman win
less than a week after the introduction of his new team, the Power Horse Triathlon team.
He finished the 3.8km swim in 11th place, and by the end of his
scorching bike split (4:37:34 over 180km) he was side by side with
fellow German Maik Twelsiek.
In the run, Bracht had the third fastest time, finishing the day in 8:26:48.
