Team SHO-AIR/Cannondale had a more than impressive showing at this past weekend's second Pro XCT at Bonelli Park.
The highlights include Jeremiah Bishop taking the win in a star studded pack to take his first Pro XC victory in several years. The win preceded by a 2nd place finish at the MJ Classic puts Jeremiah in the hot seat for the series points.
Ty Kady and Erik Bostrom took 1/2 honors in the highly contested mens Cat. 1 race.
In the Pro women's race the presence of Pua Mata was missed, but Scott Sports and ENVE XTERRA athlete Lesley Paterson picked up where she left off in the Philippines by surprising a field of Olympians to take the win in her first Pro XC race.
Two states away the National Endurance Series' opener was under way in St. George, Utah at the True Grit 50/100. Salt Lake City local and team distance specialist Alex Grant made relatively short work of the rough and rocky 100 mile desert course winning the event with a comfortable 17min. margin over another ENVE sponsored rider Cary Smith of Team CF.
