Intro to the Founders Blog

Founders Forum

My love for bikes started with the first BMX bike I had as a kid. Life became a series of moments between the opportunities I had to get out and ride again. As I got a little older it started to open doors to new places and people and my eyes to new environments and opportunities.

Fast forward to today . . . Nothing has changed, it still provides me the same opportunities regularly. My most creative moments take place in the moment between breathes deep in the mental journey that takes place while rolling. It gives me priority to my concerns and provides me the insight to better manage my life. It has taken me around the globe to moments and situations I could have never dreamed. It's introduced me to people I could have never had the chance to meet; in some cases those people have change my life to the point I can't imagine not having them around. The doors are still opening and my eyes are still being filled with opportunities that continue to amaze me . . .  2 wheels have evolved into my ticket to ride!

I like to think that ENVE is a celebration of this concept/opportunity. When I started the company it was my goal to fill the walls with people that had the same appreciation of the Experience. A "Celebration of a Riding Lifestyle" a vibe that can only be found on 2 wheels. We dump our interests, passions, and expectations into every aspect of the business. The products are clean and clearly designed by people that ride and want to create a “no compromise” something that they dream of riding. We treat our customers like someone we ride with; after all we are riding with you when you ride ENVE. Hopefully our products produce a joy and appreciation for the ideas we worked so hard to incorporate into each specific piece.

So over the past five years I have had some of the most amazing and sometimes insane moments while chasing this dream. People have told me I should share these experiences to help illustrate what ENVE and our culture is all about. This forum will be my attempt to do this; I hope it will represent all people who love the flavor as much as I do. It will include stories about places we travel and the events that are associated. I will include bits from some of the bike industry players that I have been lucky enough to get to know. I hope that I can communicate the experiences well, because they have been entertaining displays of people that truly get and celebrate a "Ride Life".
