Design Engineer
Position: Design Engineer
Classification: Full-time, Exempt
Location:
Ogden, UT
Position Summary
Work
with ENVE’s engineering team to develop new and innovative products. Lead
product through all phases of development from concept to full production. Apply engineering principles to research,
analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, and test composite components and
fabrications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the team in development of current product and
future technology
·
Bring complex products to market and
closely estimate the time necessary to complete each phase of development.
·
Maintain project timelines and cost
targets
·
Develop new design solutions for future products
·
Provide preliminary structural design and process
evaluation
·
Analyze potential critical failure modes
·
Prepare design specifications
·
Supervise tests
and analysis of test data to verify designs
·
Detail component design and validation
Required
Qualifications and Work Experience
·
BSME or equivalent education and
experience.
·
Minimum 7 years experience with at
least 3 years in composite laminate design.
·
Minimum 5 years experience with
Solidworks
·
Proven experience with translating
designs into a manufacturable product
·
Proven track record of creative
approach and innovation
·
Excellent project management skills
·
Excellent analytical skills
·
High standard of technical
documentation
·
Experience with FEA
·

National Sales ManagerClassification: Full-Time
Location: Ogden, UT
Position Summary
Manage all sales related issues regarding Enve's domestic sales program.
Essential
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop
and execute a strategic sales and distribution plan for growing Enve Composites
with the expressed intent of insuring that annual sales/profit goals are met or
exceeded in accordance with corporate objectives and strategies.
- Build
and manage internal and external sales forces.
The goals of the department are to insure National Sales Representation
coverage, quality customer service, drive proactive sales, expedite delivery of
orders and minimize returns/cancellations. The Sales Director needs to provide training,
development, support and direction to all employees within the structure.
- Manage
all aspects of the outside sales force including performance evaluations, goal
setting, training, development, direction, commission structure, contract
negotiation, hiring and termination.
- Direct
the monthly, seasonal and annual sales plan for meeting or exceeding sales and
profit goals. Develop strategies and
growth plans for all key accounts and target accounts. Develop and maintain relationships with all
key account buyers and managers. Travel,
present and secure existing and new key account business.
- Anticipate
shortfalls and create additional sales opportunities each month. Work directly with finance and product
planning in an effort to maximize sales and margin contribution per month.
- Responsible
for preparing and presenting all sales and account information, corporate
metrics and sales trends for the monthly MOR and quarterly business plan. Responsible for evaluating the business and driving
sales strategy for the long range business plan.
- Develop
and manage the Sales Organization’s annual budget. Work directly with Finance on all issues
impacting the budget; sales, profitability by account, credit, commission,
coop, re-bate, market development funds, bad debt.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s
degree in related field required; preferably in Marketing, Sales or Business
- 7-10
years sales management experience in the cycling or outdoor industry
- Comprehensive
knowledge of domestic markets and all other sales related functions
- Proven
performer in goal-oriented sales environment leading sales team in meeting
goals
- Experience
in product forecasting, goal setting, and performance measurement
- Strong
business and competitive analysis skills
- Top
notch presentation and communication skills
- Computer
proficiency with advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications; i.e. Word,
Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability
to listen to, understand and identify customer needs
- Ability
to travel as needed
- Proven
ability to lead in a collaborative, team oriented environment
