Seit der Präsentation des originalen SES 3.4 haben wir immer wieder neue Technologien für die SES-Modellreihe entwickelt, die unsere Laufräder noch schneller machen und für noch bessere Fahreigenschaften sorgen. Das SES 3.4 ist Road Tubeless-kompatibel, auf 25 mm breite Reifen ausgelegt, verfügt über eingegossene Carbon-Bremsflanken und das optimierte SES Aero-Felgenprofil mit maximaler Effizienz im Segment der niedrig bauenden Aero-Laufräder. Es ist in den Bergen ebenso zuhause wie auf Flachetappen – darum ist das SES 3.4 das vielseitigste unter den Smart ENVE System Aero-Laufrädern.

Seit seiner Präsentation anno 2009 hat sich das Smart ENVE System 3.4 als das vielseitigste und folglich meistverkaufte Carbon-Aero-Laufrad von ENVE etabliert – hoch geschätzt unter Rennradfahrern aller Leistungsklassen. Konsequenterweise wurde auch der erste Tour de France-Etappensieg von ENVE mit dem SES 3.4 errungen, von Steve Cummings. Das SES 3.4 ist breiter als sein Vorgänger (29 mm außen, 21 mm innen), um Rollwiderstand und Aerodynamik im Zusammenspiel mit 25 mm breiten Reifen zu verbessern. Darüber hinaus wurde die vielseitige, zuverlässige Charakteristik des SES 3.4 durch seine Kompatibilität mit Road Tubeless-Reifen weiter optimiert. ‘Road Tubeless‘ bedeutet geringeren Rollwiderstand, mehr Komfort und Traktion sowie ein vermindertes Pannenrisiko. Wie alle SES-Laufräder verfügt auch das SES 3.4 über unterschiedliche Felgenprofile und Geometrien vorne und hinten, um so maximale Aero-Effizienz und beste Fahreigenschaften unter wechselnden Wind- wie Wetterbedingungen zu erzielen. Die Vorderradfelge ist 38 mm hoch und schmaler als ihr hinteres Pendant, um mehr Fahrstabilität bei Seitenwind zu bieten. Hinten sorgen 42 mm Profilhöhe für eine noch bessere Aerodynamik. Um für Bergetappen gerüstet zu sein, wo die Bremsen stärker gefordert sind, verfügt das SES 3.4 über ein hoch temperaturbeständiges Kunstharz-Material sowie die eingegossene Bremsflanken-Technologie von ENVE als Garantie für höchste Felgen-Stabilität und präzise Bremsfunktion immer dann, wenn sie am meisten gefordert wird – nämlich auf langen, steilen Abfahrten.

ENVE SES 2.2, 3.4, 5.6, 7.8, 3.4 Disc, 5.6 Disc, 7.8 Disc, SES Rear Disc Wheel – There are no limitations on tire compatibility with these wheel models. Your ENVE SES wheels may be set up and run with inner-tubes and non-tubeless tires or tubeless (TL) and tubeless ready (TLR) tires alike. We recommend the use of a Tubeless (TL) or Tubeless Ready (TLR) 700x25c tire set up tubeless to maximize aerodynamics, rolling resistance, crosswind stability, and your ride experience.

Non-Tubeless Setup (i.e. I want to run inner-tubes) – Each ENVE SES wheelset is delivered with one roll of RED, model specific, ENVE tested and approved tubeless rim tape. This tape should be installed regardless of whether you intend to run your wheels tubeless or not. Do not run cloth or plastic (including ENVE) non-tubeless compatible rim tape or strips. Plastic rim strips and cloth tapes are too thick, bridge the drop-center rim channel, and will make installation and removal of tires extremely difficult. Cotton and/or Natural Fiber Sidewall TiresENVE does NOT RECOMMEND the use of cotton or natural fiber sidewall non-tubeless tires with ENVE SES wheelsets for EVERYDAY USE. These tires are intended for high-performance racing applications only. If you choose to run these tires, please inspect your tires after each ride for cuts, tears, and any signs of abrasion and/or wear in the sidewall and at the location of the rim/tire interface. If any wear and/or damage is identified, replace before riding. Riders who choose to run tires with cotton or natural fiber sidewalls do so at their own risk.

ENVE supports standard 100mm and boost 110mm front wheel 15mm thru-axle systems on all wheels except the M90 which uses a 20mm front axle. We can convert thru-axles to accommodate quick releases if your fork requires the use of a quick release. Front axle specifications are provided by your fork manufacturer.
