The definitive mountain wheel. The M6 Series defines the modern, and varied interpretation of the mountain bike. Loaded with traction and acceleration on the climb it’s also backed with precision and control while absorbing vibrations and impacts on the descent. The M6 Series is designed in 2 diameters and 3 widths to ensure your sophisticated preference for tire size and pressure is met with an uncompromising tire to rim interface.

“For this type of money you may expect a damn good wheelset, and that is exactly what the M630 is. ENVE rims are produced in the US, the spoke holes are not drilled so the carbon structure is much stronger than that of competitors that sell carbon wheels for half of their price. Conclusions; The ENVE M630 checks off all the boxes – except for sealing the tires – 10 out of 10 points. Zero flats, in 6 months of testing; even with low tire pressure hitting a curb by accident didn’t cause any issues whatsoever. Perfection has its price……”Velozine NL

The mountain biker who wonders what is possible, the skeptic afraid of ‘plastic’ wheels, the weight weenie, the Clydesdale, the high mileage guy, the weekend warrior. It would be easier to describe who it is not for…

ENVE showed the world that a mountain bike wheel could be carbon – we’re still immensely proud of that achievement. A mountain bike wheel, however, can be so much more.  The M6 Series is not about technical challenges, and we refuse to chase specifications in order to be the widest, tallest, or stiffest. For the M6 Series of wheels, the question was not about carbon, rather, “What is the potential of a mountain bike wheel?”

Each M6 Series wheel model is designed for the broad range of tire widths, hub configurations, and sizes so that – you – the modern trail rider, can choose between them.

For high-traction trail conditions, the upper end of our recommended pressures may not be sufficient. Therefore, we recommend that you increase your tire pressure 5-10% at a time until you find your optimal tire pressure. Examples of high traction conditions would include loam, sandstone/slickrock, tacky flow trails, etc…

If running tires with double ply, triple ply, or DH casings, consider testing the lower range of the recommended tire pressures and move up or down from there until you’ve found your optimal tire pressure.

Front Axle

ENVE supports standard 100mm and boost 110mm front wheel 15mm thru-axle systems on all wheels except the M90 which uses a 20mm front axle. We can convert thru-axles to accommodate quick releases if your fork requires the use of a quick release. Front axle specifications are provided by your fork manufacturer.

Standard = 15mm x 100mm Thru-axle
Boost = 15mm x 110mm Thru-Axle

Rear Axle

Rear axle configuration is determined by your frame. You can find most in the specs section of the manufacturer website.

12x142
The most common current rear axle configuration for all-mountain bikes.
12x148
This is boost. Frames 2015 model year and newer will most likely have a "boost" rear axle configuration.
12x150
Common rear axle on DH bikes model year 2013 and older.
12x157
Most common rear axle configuration on model year 2014 and newer DH bikes.
