Los ciclistas de carretera y triatletas con bicicletas aerodinámicas modernas con frenos de disco se beneficiarán de la reducida resistencia aerodinámica, la ligereza y el perfil de llanta optimizado para montar cubiertas de mayor volumen de las SES 7.8 Disc.

Muchas de las bicicletas modernas de carretera están preparadas ahora para frenos de disco, y las superbicis de triatlón del futuro también los van a llevar. Eliminar las pistas de freno abre nuevos horizontes y posibilidades estructurales en la llanta. Los frenos de disco están empezando a aparecer en la mayoría de las bicicletas aerodinámicas del mundo, y la SES 7.8 Disc ya está preparada. Mientras, la mayoría de los constructores de ruedas simplemente montan las mismas llantas sobre bujes para disco de freno, poniendo más radios y cubriendo las pistas de freno con adhesivos. Pero esto reduce mucho las posibilidades de esa rueda. Eliminar los esfuerzos extras que requiere el frenado sobre la llanta nos permite repensar totalmente la forma de la llanta, y más específicamente la zona de la pista de freno. La SES 7.8 Disc presenta la curvatura de llanta patentada SES, optimizada para freno de disco. Además, las llantas SES 7.8 para cubierta o tubular para freno de disco son mucho más ligeras pues se elimina el material utilizado para gestionar el calor. Sin pistas de freno podemos hacer la llanta más eficiente aerodinámicamente y más resistente a los impactos. Por último, la SES 7.8 de carbono para cubierta es compatible con tubeless, pero también se puede montar con cámara. Al igual que el resto de modelos de la línea SES, la SES 7.8 Disc ha sido aerodinámicamente optimizada en torno a los neumáticos de 25 mm de gran eficiencia de rodadura.

Front Axle

ENVE supports standard 100mm and boost 110mm front wheel 15mm thru-axle systems on all wheels except the M90 which uses a 20mm front axle. We can convert thru-axles to accommodate quick releases if your fork requires the use of a quick release. Front axle specifications are provided by your fork manufacturer.
