G23은 더티 칸자(Dirty Kanza), 랜드런(Landrun), 크러셔 인 더 터셔(Crusher in the Tushar)와 같은 클래식 경기에서나 그라인듀로(Grinduro) 또는 로스트 앤드 파운드(Lost and Found)와 같은 새로운 대회 모두 자유자재로 사용할 수 있는 휠입니다.

SES G Series wheelsets feature a straight sidewall/hookless bead design to ensure best in class tubeless tire performance and are qualified for use with “Tubeless, Tubeless Ready (TLR)” tires, with a labeled width of 28c or greater ONLY. One may safely run inner-tubes as long as the tire itself is of a tubeless or tubeless ready construction.

Please note that the internal rim width of the G23 is 23mm and intended for use with tubeless ready tires between 32-45mm with 40mm tires being the primary focus of the design. The G27 features a 27mm internal width that is intended for pairing with tires between 42-60mm with 55mm/2.0” tires being the target tire width for this rim.

Due to the straight sidewall/hookless design of this rim and inherent high volume design, it is important to understand that not all tires are created equal and for that reason one should pay special attention to the pressure ratings of both the tire and the rim.

G23 – MAX PRESSURE FOR A 32MM TIRE = 60psi/4.1bar

G27 – MAX PRESSURE FOR A 42MM TIRE = 40psi/2.75bar

IN THE CASE THAT TIRE AND RIM MAX PRESSURES ARE DIFFERENT. THE LOWER OF THE TWO PRESSURES BECOMES THE DEFAULT MAX PRESSURE FOR THE SYSTEM.

THE MAX PRESSURE RATING FOR EACH RIM WILL DECREASE AS YOUR TIRE VOLUME/SIZE INCREASES. REFER TO RECOMMENDED TIRE PRESSURE CHART.

ENVE Tip: Trust our tire pressure recommendation chart. The maximum tire pressure ratings on tires are not recommended operating pressures. Running the max pressure will not make you faster, rather, it will actually increase rolling resistance (making you slower) and discomfort (making you slower), jeopardizing the ride experience.

How many hours/week do you ride? 6-15

What is your age bracket? 46-55

I have ridden these on both the CX bike and the gravel bike, for the past six months. I have ridden them on some of the roughest terrain I’ve ever ridden, and they are simply bombproof. Having super light wheels which ride really well, while never having to think twice about their durability…they are just amazing.

    Great Gravel Wheelset

I judge wheelsets on four levels. First, are they tubeless and easy to set up. Two, do I get pinch flats, three can they take a beating and four comfort and weight. I’ve had lots of other wheelsets, but the G23 and G27 wheelsets are by far my best. Over 18 gravel races/rides in 2019 using the G23s, including The Rift, DK200, Landrun100 (now MidSouth), Unpaved PA, Overland, Barry Roubaix, to name but a few, using the Maxxis Rambler on my Open Upper, I didn’t have a single flat tire, and they never failed even though I put them through hell on MTB like downhills at full tilt. At 1300+ grams, they are the lightest wheelset for that type of pubishment and very easy, with the middle groove to set up. I liked them so much that I got a set built with Berd spokes, and they are amazing! Loving life, loving my wheels.

The ideal gravel (and beyond) wheelset

I’ve been rocking these wheels for months on multiple bikes and multiple surfaces, and they are unbeatable. They are nice and wide to suit various gravel tire sizes, and smoking fast! The claims of being the true gravel wheelset are spot on, but I’ve found they also excel on any other surface. Need tubeless cyclocross wheels? Check. Need some fast wheels that will see the road? Check. Just excellent all around and crazy light.

Super light; super strong; super sexy. I’ve ridden these wheels hard both on- and off-road and have never found an environment in which they don’t excel.

This wheelset is second to none. It feels as stiff as the description says while still being light as a feather. I’ve put this wheelset through hell – both rocky terrain and climbing 10k+ climbs. I wouldn’t choose another wheelset if I had to do it over.
