These tires pair perfectly with the ses 4.5 wheelset I own. I run 29 in the rear and 27 in the front and the pucture protection is pretty decent. I didn't get much of a long life out of my 1st set compared to others, but that is alright.

Fitted a set of Enve 29c tyres on 4.5ARs and it all was all pretty damn fine - until a huge pinch flat (running tubeless) as I split the tyre. That was down to runnig too low pressure on account of pure laziness and thinking a thumb-press squidgy 20-25psi would be 'fine'. Swicthed to Cadex Race as all the LBS had that day, and immediately noticed the rougher ride and less grip out of the saddle on wet climbs. Went back to Enve 29c on my 4.5s (now rinning at 55psi :-), and have recently gone from Schwalbe to 25c Enve on my 7.8s and new Zipp 404s... and I cant see me changing to anything else any time soon. Fitting on all wheels was good, seems decent pucture resisistance, roll smooth as silk and have outstanding wet grip (Im in the UK - that's really important). I am very imprerssed with these tyres even if they are a bit eye-watering expensive. Looking forward to 27c on the new 6.7s for sure.

Mounted the 29 mm on my 4.5 SES AR Disc wheels. First flat was a very small pinhole on the side wall of the rear tire after 40 miles. It flatted out during the night. Replaced the tire with a new one and after 100 miles another flat this one catastrophic. See picture. Running the rear at 65 psi and 62 front. In the last 4 years running Continental Tubeless on my Zipps 303 wheels as well as on my Enve G23 wheels only one flat. On these 4.5 SES AR wheels Zipp Tangente’s 28 not one single flat. Just received delivery of 2 Continental 28 STR and I am so happy to move on from these Enve tires. I love all Enve products but these tires are not to Enve standards. Back to the drawing board guys…you have to do better than this.

I gotta be honest... I bought a set because I had two new sets of hooless wheels (Enve 65 and Zipp 303s) and needed some shoes, but during COVID, tires were in short supply. I honestly thought these were a stop-gap until Conti fixed their problems with tubeless... but earlier this week, i just ordered a third pair of SES... I have put them through the paces (~2000 miles) and REALLY like them. They are sure-footed coming down the Utah canyons (wet or dry), spin up fine and handle heavy rain without issue. I think this is my new default tire!

After purchasing the 29mm tyres tan wall , complete with new carbon strada 55mm wheels all hand built and set up professionally, I absolutely loved how they ran and felt @ 74psi.
However after less than 250 miles on them over a few weeks a puncture in the side wall would not seal no matter what. Have reverted to running light weight inner tubes both front and rear until tyres need replacing due to wear and I can afford . They look the dogs nuts on the bike though 👍🚴
