Wow, what a great handlebar! I've had trouble sprinting on the drops on my old handelbar because it was too narrow (36mm top, 38mm drops), but at the same time I got used to riding narrow on the hoods. So I was looking for something narrow with a flare and in the end I chose this SES AR road handlebar (38mm top, 43mm drops) which is just perfect for me. On the drops it has two distinct segments, because it doesn't angle at a steady round curve like other handlebars. Upper one has flat angle and is not too flared for aero riding on the drops and lower one is flared for sprinting on the drops. Top is flat, which I prefer, but not stupid aero flat so that you can't grab it, it's very comfy, should be good for long rides. And also it has shorter reach than many other handlebars, which is always a plus if you wanna go for longer stem.
The quality is superb, with great attention to detail - everything is neatly marked, area for hoods' clamps is in the very right place (unlike some other hi-end bars), clever bar end plugs, indents for the bar tape at the top, Di2 and total internal cable routing futureproof.
Needless to say I was able to sprint on the drops no problems with it straight away and it was still not too wide on the tops, very comfy handlebar.
The only negative is its steep price, but it's ENVE, whatcha gonna do :)
