Just up the mountain from ENVE headquarters, one of the most promising up-and-comer Americans has been laying the foundation year after year to become a true threat against the very best in the world. Nineteen-year-old Katie Clouse might be one of the newer faces in the pro women’s racing scene, but she’s already proven quite proficient at winning, having amassed 31 National Championship titles and now has her sights set on a Cyclocross World title in U23.

The Park City, Utah, native is the youngest member of the DNA Pro Cycling Team where she has the freedom to have an alternative schedule of sorts that blends road racing, mountain biking, and ‘cross . Katie’s time with the DNA Pro Cycling Team this year was aimed at giving her more experience racing with a team at the biggest road races in the US. Although the 2020 road season hasn’t exactly given her the racing schedule that was anticipated, the hope is that between collegiate season and cyclocross Katie will have the opportunity to contend once again for a Cyclocross World Championship title and add another Mountain Bike Collegiate National title.

For the mountain bike season, Cannondale set Katie up on the all-new Scalpel. See what she’s riding.
